Amalia Mastora earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences (Athens, Greece) and went on to receive her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Utrecht University (Utrecht, Netherlands), where she was involved in research on key psychological processes, namely the biological causes for depression and fear conditioning – generalization. She has been trained in Cognitive – Behavioural Psychotherapy with an emphasis on anxiety disorders, depression and eating disorders. She is certified in the administration and interpretation of psychometric tools: WAIS-IV (Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale) and MMPI-2 (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory).
